Grief Groups
“I facilitate Weathervane Grief Groups as a Grief Doula. A Grief Doula is someone who facilitates and advocates for space to deliver the tough emotions of loss and change. I’m honored to guide and hold space with you.”
- Julie, Weathervane Director
Weathervane Grief Groups are designed as safe spaces to feel and process. These intimate group sessions allow people to come together and intentionally reflect on their grief and gratitude, as it comes.
Loss and Grief Happens Life Changes. Growth is Inevitable. This is where we face it all. Together.

There are two 5 week long Adult Closed Grief Groups Starting February 11th + February 13th. This group is open to all types of grief. Sign up for these groups closes Monday, February 10th. Click here to learn more: Sign up/More Info
Grief Groups are also available upon request for your community. Community could mean your family, friends, chosen family, company and/or co-workers.
Weathervane Closed Grief Groups are open to anyone seeking support around the grief that comes from the death of a loved one or we may run an “all grief” type of group as well. Closed group, means we will meet with the same group of people every week.
We will engage in a curriculum that offers activities to help us identify our feelings and the individual challenges that come with grief. We will end each night with a reflection of gratitude and growth personal to each participant.
All activities are “challenge by choice,” meaning you do not have to participate. We are happy to have you as you are. Bringing yourself is enough.
Attendees or organizations pre-register and pay for the series in advance.

As a Grief Doula, I am here to assist you and/or your community in finding ways to intentionally hold space for your grief. To celebrate, to mourn, to gather, to honor, acknowledging all personalities and complexities.
Please click request support to schedule your free 20 minute consultation to discuss what Memorialization Support can look like for you and your community or family.
Youth Grief Groups
by request
Youth + Full Family Grief Group (hopefully) coming in partnership with GG’s House Summer 2025
Children process grief differently than adults do, but also in conjunction with the adults in their lives. Weathervane Youth Grief Groups will offer young people a space to connect and heal with their peers, while being guided by a licensed professional. They will discover and practice new ways to cope with loss, grief, and change. They will hopefully make some new friends in the process!
Grief isn’t just about mourning the past, it’s also about living and leaning into our future. We are honored to hold space with our young people and their supporters.
